Full 'True Blood' Season 5 Trailer: Eric & Bill vs. the Vampire Authority, Sookie and Alcide Hook Up?

We have had a whole series of "Waiting Sucks" teasers over the past month or so, giving us quick looks at scenes from "True Blood" season 5. What we haven't really had yet is a trailer that shows us the Vampire Authority in full and gives us an idea of the plot of the upcoming season.

Sunday night fixed that, and delivered us a brand new "True Blood" season 5 trailer with plenty of footage from the new season. So, what can we expect?

It looks like Bill and Eric will have to put their differences aside and team up to fight back against two very serious threats: the Vampire Authority and Russell Edgington. The Authority is just coming to town, and is made up of a small council of very powerful vampires, lead by new cast member Christopher Meloni, all of whom seem to think that humans aren't good for much more than lunch. Russell, on the other hand, has been a threat for a while and seems to have found a way out of his concrete grave.

What else can we expect from season five of "True Blood?" Well, lots of hookups, apparently: the trailer offers a quick glimpse of Sookie and Alcide in an intimate moment, and Jessica seems to be fully accepting her identity as a vampire (and a sexy one at that, with a nice selection of lingerie).

The werewolves and shapeshifters will apparently still be at it, and Sookie looks to be getting pretty good with her Faerie powers, too.
